The team behind every extraordinary home
Evan Boxwell
Building is in Evan's blood. A second-generation custom home builder, he grew up in Colorado working summers as a laborer for his father's construction company. Evan attended Arizona State University and graduated with a degree in construction management from the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering in 2005. In 2014, he was named one of the Valley's top 35 entrepreneurs 35 and under.
Jeremy vanEyk
Jeremy vanEyk has spent his career creating homes in various capacities. With 20+ years building a team to help clients navigate this process — including over 200 custom lakefront homes along the highly regulated Lake Michigan shoreline — joining Evan continues to be an exciting next chapter building and developing in Arizona.
David Barworth
With a grandfather who was a builder and a father who was a contractor, David developed his passion for building at an early age. He studied construction management at Colorado State University. Very detail-oriented, he thrives on the various components of a building and their integration into the overall system. Seeing projects through to perfection is his specialty.
John Vander Maas
After earning a Master's degree from Grand Valley State University, John followed his passion into the building industry. With a relentless pursuit of the details, he owned and operated his own construction business for over 20 years — building both new homes and renovating old ones — before bringing that wealth of experience to Boxwell Homes.
Michael Cisek
A proud alumnus of Arizona State University, Michael earned his degree in Construction Management in 2022. He handles pre-construction coordination, onsite management, and warranty coordination. His attention to detail and dedication to his craft ensure every Boxwell Homes project is completed to the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

From 2008 to today
Boxwell Southwest Founded
Founded during one of the most challenging economic periods - the Great Financial Crisis. We began by remodeling foreclosed homes and flipping them, helping restore neighborhoods during a time of uncertainty.
First Raw Land Purchase
We took a bold step forward by purchasing our first raw land from the City of Phoenix. That project resulted in three single-family homes and ten townhouses, marking our entry into ground-up development.
Rebranded as Boxwell Homes
We recognized a growing demand for a more personalized, high-end homebuilding experience. We rebranded as Boxwell Homes and shifted our focus to the custom luxury home market.
