Evan Boxwell
President, CEO
Building is in Evan's blood. He's a second generation custom home builder. He grew up in Colorado where he spent his summers working as a laborer for his father's construction company. Evan attended Arizona State University and graduated with a degree in construction management from the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering in 2005. In 2014, Evan was named one of the Valley's top 35 entrepreneurs 35 and under.
Jeremy vanEyk
Principal, VP Operations
Jeremy vanEyk has spent his career creating homes in various capacities. With a passion for home building and the building process he has spent the last 20+ years building a team to help clients navigate this process. After developing lots and building over 200 custom lakefront homes along the highly regulated Lake Michigan shoreline, the opportunity came to sell that business and move west. Joining Evan, a longtime colleague in the building business, continues to be an exciting next chapter building and developing.
David Barworth
Controller
With a grandfather that was a builder and a father that was a contractor, David developed his passion for building at an early age. At Colorado State University he studied construction management. David is a very detail oriented individual and thrives on the various components of a building and their integration into the complete system. Seeing projects through to perfection is his specialty.
Micheal Cisek
Project Coordinator
A proud alumnus of Arizona State University, Michael earned his degree in Construction Management in May of 2022. In his current role as Project Coordinator, he is responsible for a range of critical tasks including pre-construction coordination, onsite management, and serving as the warranty coordinator. Michael's attention to detail and dedication to his craft has earned him a reputation as a reliable and efficient team member, helping to ensure that every Boxwell Homes project is completed to the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
John Vander Maas
Project Manager
After graduating from Grand Valley State University in 1998 with a Master's degree in Physical Therapy, John quickly changed direction and followed his passion in the building industry finding satisfaction in the steady progress that accompanied a hard day's work. With a relentless pursuit of the details, John owned and operated his own small construction business for over 20 years building both new homes and renovating old ones. This combination of new home building with remodeling has given John a wealth of experience and knowledge to draw from as a project manager with Boxwell Homes.
John and his wife Kristi have been married for 25 years, together they have 6 kids. John enjoys family vacations, spending time at the cottage on Mona Lake, and taking his dog on hikes in the mountains.
